Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with servers and infrastructure provided through NextGenHost (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in content removal, server suspension, or account termination as described in our Terms, without refund of already-consumed rental time.
You must not use the Service, or allow it to be used, to:
1. Send Spam or Unsolicited Communications
Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or engage in any other form of unsolicited mass communication or advertising, whether inside or outside the game.
2. Distribute Malware
Upload, install, host, or distribute viruses, trojans, worms, cryptolockers, backdoors, or any other malicious software, whether targeting the Service itself, other players, or third parties.
3. Infringe Copyright or Distribute Pirated Content
Host, distribute, or use plugins, mods, resource packs, software, or other content that infringes someone else's copyright or other intellectual property rights, including pirated or cracked software of any kind.
4. Launch DDoS or Other Network Attacks
Use the Service to launch, participate in, or facilitate a denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attack, port scanning, packet sniffing/spoofing, or any other attack against our infrastructure, another customer, or any third party.
5. Engage in Illegal Activity
Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal under applicable law, including hosting content or facilitating activity that is illegal in Thailand (where our infrastructure and operations are based) or in your own jurisdiction.
6. Abuse Shared Resources
Deliberately or negligently consume a disproportionate share of shared CPU, memory, disk, network, or database resources in a way that degrades the Service for other customers, or attempt to circumvent the resource limits (RAM tier, player/plugin limits, rate limits) tied to your plan.
7. Mine Cryptocurrency
Use server CPU/RAM/GPU resources to mine cryptocurrency, or run any cryptocurrency-mining process unrelated to actually operating a Minecraft server, whether directly or via a disguised plugin/mod.
8. Operate Botnets or Command-and-Control Infrastructure
Use the Service to operate, coordinate, or provide infrastructure for a botnet, malware command-and-control system, or any similar automated abuse network.
9. Reverse Engineer the Platform
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the NextGenHost dashboard, API, or underlying platform software, or circumvent any technical measure we use to enforce these policies, except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
10. Attack Other Customers or Third Parties
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another customer's server, account, or data; scan or probe our network or another customer's server for vulnerabilities; or otherwise interfere with another customer's use of the Service.
11. Harassment and Harmful Content
Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse other people, or to host content that is unlawfully discriminatory, exploitative of minors, or otherwise seriously harmful.
Reporting a Violation
If you believe a server hosted on NextGenHost is being used in violation of this policy, please report it via our Contact page or email [email protected] with as much detail as you can provide. We investigate reports and take action consistent with our Terms of Service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
